Thank you for protecting us in rough weather

Our Heavenly Father...

Last night...
...the wind howeled, but it didn't knock down our trees -- thank you!
...the rain fell in torrents, but it didn't flood our basement -- thank you!
...the lightening danced around us, but it didn't hit our house -- thank you!

Thank you, Lord, for protecting us while giving nature the rains it needs.

As always, in Jesus name I pray.

My joy and my earthly life

Thank you Heavenly Father for our blue skies and warmth by day this weekend. And thank you for the rain at night, as we lay tucked dry and cozy in our beds. I pray that one day everyone can enjoy such happiness as you have given me this day.

Thank you also, my Lord, for my family. My loving wife Kate and my devoted daughter Hilary. Your gifts to me, they are my joy and earthly life. They are also a sign to me of your love and generosity, which know no bounds.
